Description

Harmony Blackbird is an Anishinaabe gashi from Bkejwanong First Nation and Unceded Territory located in Southwestern Ontario. She is looking forward to being a part of Indigenous Clean Energy team as the Interim Communications Manager. Harmony is eager to begin raising awareness about clean energy projects and sharing more stories for future generations in her new role. She brings 8 years of work experience in the social services field. She is currently finishing up her Indigenous Social Work degree, while currently being a newly elected Councillor for her home community. In her downtime, she enjoys sewing ribbon skirts, volunteering in her home community, and being with her family.
