Garth is a member of the Kitselas First Nation, part of the larger Tsimshian Nation, and is matrilineally connected to the Gitxsan Nation. He holds an undergraduate degree in Finance and an MBA from the University of Northern British Columbia. With 19 years of experience in the finance and banking sector, Garth has worked extensively with First Nation governments, nation-owned entities, and not-for-profit organizations. As Director of Finance, he provides strategic financial leadership to support long-term sustainability. Outside of work, Garth enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons and is passionate about playing, watching, and coaching basketball.
