Freddie Huppé Campbell (she/they) is a proud Michif Two-Spirit human, urban raised in the Kootenays. They carry ancestry from Lac La Biche, the Red River, France, Scotland, Ireland and England. Freddie strives to learn and grow in identity, culture, language, art and action. They are the Director of the Energy & Climate team at Indigenous Clean Energy where they work to support community-led clean energy sovereignty and more equitable, just climate action on national and global scales. Freddie brings her teachings, perspectives and truths to her work and grounds in relationality with community and the land.
