Evangeline Sanderson

Position/Title

Energy Efficiency Coordinator

Location

Ottawa, ON (Anishinabe Algonquin territory)

Description

Evangeline is a proud Mohawk woman from Six Nations of the Grand River and a recent graduate of the Office Administration – Executive program at Algonquin College. She is working with ICE’s Bringing It Home team as part of CMHC’s Housing Internship for Indigenous Youth. Raised in an eco-friendly household, she grew up with a strong awareness of environmental responsibility and has always been eager to help implement sustainable solutions to today’s climate crisis. As she begins her career, Evangeline is grateful to be a part of an impactful and Indigenous-led organization that helps communities across Turtle Island become leaders in clean energy. Outside of work you can find her curled up with a book, journal, or her newest crochet project, always with a mug of coffee and her orange cat Pumpkin on her lap.
