Description

Catherine is a Learning and Evaluation Analyst intern at Indigenous Clean Energy via Propel Impact’s Winter 2026 Analyst Program. In her final year of a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Statistics at the University of King’s College, Catherine has a particular interest in public economics. She is also a recent graduate of the 5th cohort of Indigenous Youth Root’s Indigenous Youth Policy School and is a self-described policy nerd. She’s excited to apply these interests and learnings to her work with Indigenous Clean Energy to support their programs and the organization.Catherine grew up in Sudbury, Ontario (traditional territory of the Atikameksheng Anishinabek) but has been living in Kjipuktuk (Halifax, NS) for the past few years. She is a member of Millbrook First Nation. Her maternal family is Mi’kmaw, and her paternal family is French and Gaelic Nova Scotian.Outside of work, Catherine is an enthusiastic 7s rugby player, an avid crafter, and she loves visiting the public library.
