Tyler is a First Nations entrepreneur from Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation (PBCN). He is a 20/20 Catalyst alumni & Indigenous Off-Diesel Initiative (IODI) energy champion. Tyler has won various awards during his years of running a business, including World Class Net Promoter Award, Customer Service & Reliability Award, and Star Business Owner Award. Back in 2014, he started his company, Jobb Developments, which offers construction, project development, and other services. The company’s goal is to improve the lives of First Nations people through the benefits of residential and housing retrofits, renewables, mould removal, housing renovations, and indoor air quality projects.
Tyler supports the professional and personal growth of those around him. He has a passion for innovation and is known to instill it in his staff. Tyler has been in a leadership position most of his life; leader of teams, leader of siblings, and leader in every aspect of his life. Tyler excels at problem-solving, leadership, inspiring, and innovation.
I enjoy mentoring because I can relay my knowledge to other individuals so they can further grow their careers. Most importantly, I enjoy learning from my mentees as it is a mutually beneficial relationship of sharing knowledge.
