Second Project Accelerator cohort gathers in Wakefield to transform housing through energy efficiency
VANCOUVER, BC — November 12, 2025. Indigenous Clean Energy (ICE), a national nonprofit advancing Indigenous leadership in the clean energy transition, will host the annual Changemakers Forum in Vancouver, BC, to celebrate innovation, collaboration, and community-driven climate solutions led by Indigenous communities across the country.
This year’s Forum marks the graduation of the 2025 cohort of the 20/20 Catalysts Program, 19 inspiring participants from Indigenous communities from coast to coast to coast. Catalysts will share insights and experiences from their clean energy projects, which aim to strengthen their communities’ economies, advance energy sovereignty, and foster climate resilience.
Throughout the day, participants and guests will engage in panel discussions exploring the future of Indigenous-led clean energy in Canada, featuring community leaders, policymakers, and industry partners.
Since its inception, the 20/20 Catalysts Program has equipped more than 150 Indigenous leaders with the skills, mentorship, and confidence to champion clean energy projects within their communities. The program’s collaborative approach blends technical knowledge with Indigenous worldviews, building the groundwork for a just and inclusive clean energy future.
