Equipping Indigenous youth to be clean energy leaders.
The Generation Power program connects Indigenous youth with employers in the energy industry through work placements.
Through 3 to 12 month-long job opportunities, Indigenous youth will get hands-on experience in the growing clean energy economy in Canada and around the world, and learn about the diversity of career opportunities in the field.
Employers, which include project developers, non-profit organizations, communities, utilities and government, will gain an understanding of how Indigenous youth are integral to leading Canada’s energy future.

For Employers
Active engagement is at the center of the Generation Power Program. Selected employers will need to commit to the program for a 3 to 12 month period. They should be open to sharing their skills, knowledge and experience, and be dedicated to championing a more sustainable, equitable future.
