• Participants collaborate on designing an energy-efficient model home, making real-life choices that demonstrate the impact of various materials, insulation types, and design decisions based on cost and performance.
• The workshops include shared meals, acknowledgments of local Elders and
• Knowledge Keepers, and time for open, meaningful conversations about energy solutions grounded in each community’s unique realities.
• Sessions are led by Cedric Pepelea, a trusted facilitator and long-term ICE partner who brings energy expertise and a deep respect for community knowledge.
• Attendees receive practical knowledge and learn about additional ICE programs and opportunities that can support ongoing community initiatives.
• Friendly competition encourages creativity and engagement, highlighting different approaches to energy efficiency in fun and innovative ways.
• Workshops are designed to fit the availability, interests, and priorities of each host community.
