Richard Hall has 35 years of experience as a Red Seal carpenter and builder, construction foreman, building inspector, site supervisor, and project manager. Richard now serves as a special advisor for First Nation communities in constructing energy-efficient homes. He has also retired from his role as the Asset Manager for Nuxalk Nation; in this role, he led efforts to design and rebuild homes after seeing how mould impacted community members’ health and well-being. Richard belongs to the Expert Advisory Group for the British Columbia First Nations Housing and Infrastructure Council.

Richard is currently designing affordable, sustainable, energy-efficient homes that complement the climate of British Columbia’s west coast and suit the cultural lifestyles of First Nation communities.
