Indigenous Clean Energy (ICE) is an independent non-profit organization that advances broad sustainable prosperity by amplifying First Nation, Inuit, and Métis leadership in clean energy projects. Through capacity-building, career training, and mentorship with high quality and hands-on programming, ICE supports Indigenous Peoples in their clean energy journeys, while promoting meaningful collaboration with energy companies, utilities, governments, development firms, clean tech innovators, the academic sector, and capital markets.

ICE is a fully remote workplace with hybrid options for those who live in several areas within Canada. Our headquarters is currently located in Ottawa, but we have plans for an on-reserve office in the near future.
Position Summary
The 20/20 Catalysts Program Curriculum Coordinator is a key role in ensuring effective delivery and development of program curricula. This position is responsible for planning, updating, and implementing curriculum materials, managing accreditation processes, and coordinating with staff, instructors, and participants to ensure smooth operations. The Curriculum Coordinator will also contribute to participant selection and support program logistics, including on-site activities, webinars, and mentorship coordination.
Responsibilities
- Curriculum development and maintenance
- Review and update program curriculum annually to maintain relevance and effectiveness
- Identify gaps and develop new curriculum content to enhance learning outcomes
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and third-party contributors to produce high-quality materials
- Ensure all curriculum content is accurate, relevant, and prepared for delivery
- On-site and webinar coordination
- Coordinate instructors, mentors, and speakers for curriculum delivery
- Review and distribute presentations and worksheets to participants
- Facilitate modules and assist with technical support for participants accessing curriculum content
- Accreditation efforts
- Research potential accreditation partners and assess their suitability
- Collaborate with academic and industry professionals to advance accreditation goals
- Prepare curriculum documentation for accreditation purposes, including course outlines and evaluation methods
- Recruitment and participant support
- Work with program leadership to develop recruitment strategies and outreach plans
- Evaluate participant applications, conduct interviews, and assist in selection decisions
- Organize and distribute onboarding materials, contracts, and facilitation guides to participants
- Provide ongoing support through regular check-ins and office hours
- Mentorship and coaching coordination
- Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and coordination of mentors and instructors
- Match mentors with participants based on shared interests and goals
- Support mentorship activities, review expectations, and track communications
- Organizational support
- Maintain program documentation using file and task management systems.
- Update and organize communication templates and resources
- Coordinate and share program information with staff, participants, and stakeholders
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- A degree or equivalent lived experience in education, clean energy, or a related field
- 1 to 3 years of previous experience is required to obtain the position
- Strong facilitation and organizational skills, with experience in workshops, events, or conferences
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (bilingualism is an asset)
- Research and report-writing experience
KNOWLEDGE
- Knowledge and understanding of Indigenous Peoples within Canada and internationally, their cultures, histories and traditions
- Knowledge and understanding of contemporary concerns and issues related to Indigenous communities
- Have an understanding about energy efficiency projects and initiatives and an appreciation for Indigenous participation in this space

- Fluency in english is essential
