Winter is a proud member of the Fort Nelson First Nation of Fort Nelson British Columbia which is one of six nations that belong to Treaty 8. She currently resides in Calgary Alberta which is located on the traditional territory of the Treaty 7 Nations of Southern Alberta.
Winter specializes in Business Operations and has over 10 years of professional experience supporting and developing initiatives for operating procedures, continuous improvement, change management and business acumen while infusing pride into values and missions. As a mother of two beautiful daughters Patricia and Brianne, a grandmother to a handsome little boy Joseph and future wife to Gary Copeland. She is passionate about minimizing footprints on our lands, water, animals, and the ecosystem for the sustainability of future generations.
