Description
Averi is Anishinaabe and Oneida from Southwestern Ontario and Dakota from Sioux Valley Manitoba. She is currently studying Humanities at the University of Toronto, hoping to complete a double major in Peace, Conflict and Justice and Environmental Ethics. She is interested in protecting land rights and working for her communities. Averi’s passion for addressing climate change and maintaining relationships with the water have led her to ICE, and she wishes to continue learning about clean energy systems across Turtle Island.
