Chris leads ICE’s strategic planning and acts as Lead Mentor to ICE programs. He provides clean energy insights to maximize ICE’s impacts for Indigenous communities and peoples.
Chris is a Canadian eco-entrepreneur, community leader and environmental innovator. For the past 35 years, he has led and been at the forefront of ground-breaking Canadian enterprises and local/national business, social and ecological initiatives. Chris is a trusted and insightful commentator on clean energy issues that respect the Planet, and generate enduring outcomes. He supports Indigenous communities develop clean energy projects as part of the solution to Climate Change. His first book Aboriginal Power was published in 2013.
Chris resides in Ottawa on the unceded, unsurrendered Territory of the Anishinabe Algonquin Nation. He loves to spend time outdoors on backcountry hikes and northern canoe trips. Chris deeply values his relationships with colleagues and visionaries working to create a just, low carbon energy future.
