20/20 Catalyst Program Manager

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly self-motivated and autonomous team member to help lead and deliver our flagship initiative, the 20/20 Catalyst Program. This individual will be expected to take on leadership roles in a range of areas including program development coordination, outreach, program delivery, recruitment, and communications as the 20/20 Program Manager. This position requires an individual who has an appetite for leadership, engagement, and can work both independently and with a team. Candidates for this position must have exceptional interpersonal and writing skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

The 20/20 Catalyst Program is a national Indigenous capacity building program that is part of Indigenous Clean Energy Social Enterprise (ICE) that provides Catalysts (participants) with practical and applied learning about renewable energy projects, energy planning, energy efficiency and conservation, business, and advanced energy systems. This unique and interactive three-month program equips Catalysts with essential skills, tools, and resources to maximize the social and economic benefits their communities can gain through participation in renewables.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and coordinate sub-contracts and external partnership relationships;

  • Prepare participant contracts, onboarding program materials and facilitation guides;

  • Draft proposals, complete quarterly updates for projects and other documents as needed;

  • Create budgets and proposals;

  • Lead participant recruitment, onboarding, and communications;

  • Present the program to potential partners and participants;

  • Liaise and build relationships with Indigenous communities, organizations, key partners and collaborators, and others;

  • Assist with event planning (i.e.: logistics);

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports; and

  • Develop communication strategies to promote the 20/20 Catalysts Program.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Minimum two years experience in managing programs or projects, or coordinating roles;

  • Previous experience working with First Nation, Métis and Inuit communities;

  • Possesses excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;

  • Self-motivated and driven to produce quality results;

  • Ability to work as part of a team in a dynamic fast-paced environment;

  • Experience working with stakeholders, clients, and potential partners (i.e.: funders);

  • Fluency in English is essential. Bilingualism is a strong asset;

  • Strong interest in community relations and inspiring interest in clean energy;

  • Proficiency using programs such as Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Asana;

  • Experience facilitating meetings and events is an asset; and

  • Class 5 Driver’s License is an asset.

Status: Full Time

Location: Remote work with Occasional Travel
