Don Ball

Don Ball is a Professional Engineer with over forty years’ experience in the following industries: aluminum, computers, defence, space, remote sensing, and environment. For more than twenty years, he has worked on applications of satellite imagery with the Canadian Space Agency and other government departments. He taught Project Management courses for over a decade.

For the last five years, he has volunteered in elementary schools as an Engineer in Residence, where he helps teachers with the Science curriculum. He served on the Board of Directors of the Ottawa Renewable Energy Cooperative, and currently serves on the Board of the Green Aviation Research & Development Network (GARDN). In 2015, he joined TREC Education, where he facilitates renewable energy workshops in schools in English and French.
